Max R. Stuckey
ROULETTE- Max R. Stuckey, 83, of Burleson Ave., passed away Thursday (Aug. 5, 2021) in his home.
     Born April 28, 1938, in Port Allegany, he was a son of Howard C. and Lena M. Ohler Stuckey.  On Aug. 4, 1955, in Genesee, PA, he married Genevieve M. Eaton, who died Dec. 20, 2019. They were married 64 years.
     He was a lifetime resident of the area and attended both the Genesee High School and the Port Allegany High School.
     Max was employed with Interstate Amesite Co., formerly of Port Allegany, and later with Ball Corp. of Port Allegany, as a packing supervisor, before his retirement.
     He formerly attended the First Baptist Church, Roulette.
     Max enjoyed hunting, camping, mowing lawns, and cutting firewood.
     Surviving is a son, Max R. Stuckey, Jr. of Roulette; four daughters, Linda M. Billyard of Dubois, Debra (Timothy) R. Russell of Galeton, Diane J. (Walter) Hanson of Antrim, PA, and Pamela J. Barber of Roulette; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen McCanna of Roulette; and several nieces and nephews.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Genevieve, a son, Howard Stuckey, and two brothers, Robert Stuckey and Howard Stuckey, Jr.
     Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m. Friday (Aug. 13, 2021) in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. Allen Long, Pastor of the Sartwell Creek Union Church, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Austin, PA.
