Lloyd R. “Buster” Daniels, Jr.

ROULETTE-Lloyd R. “Buster” Daniels, Jr., passed away Wednesday (Jan. 26, 2022) in UPMC Cole, Coudersport.

     Born July 6, 1946, in Mount Pleasant, PA, he was a son of Lloyd R. and Mary E. Eicher Daniels.  On Sept. 23, 1972, in Eldred, he married Karen M. Winston, who survives.  They were married 49 years.

     He was a lifetime resident of the area and a graduate of Port Allegany High School, class of 1965.  

     He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the US Navy. 

     Mr. Daniels was employed with Saint Gobain Containers, Port Allegany, where he retired in 2006, with 34 years of service.

     He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.  He enjoyed traveling throughout the country with his family.

     Surviving in addition to wife, Karen, is a daughter, Lisa A. Daniels of Roulette; a son, Roy M. (Shelby) Daniels of Silver Creek, NY; six grandchildren: Morgan, Jaclin, Parker, Josie, Brieanna, and Harlow; three brothers, Terry R. (Karen) Daniels, George W. (Judy) Daniels both of Port Allegany, Richard L. Daniels of Mount Pleasant, PA; two sisters, Susanna Irwin of Port Allegany, Jean A (Curt) Linker of Dayton Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews.  

     He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ronald W. and William E. Daniels; and three sisters, Barbara A. Pinchock, Patricia A. Taylor, and Judith A. Morton.

      At Lloyd’s “Buster” request, there will be no visitation or funeral services. 

      Memorials can be made to the Veteran’s Memorial Home, Route 155 S, Port Allegany, PA 16743. 

     Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
