Dennis E. Green

PORT ALLEGANY- Dennis E. Green, 61, of N. Main St., passed away unexpectedly Sunday (Jan. 1, 2023) in UPMC Cole, Coudersport.

      Born November 24, 1961, in Port Allegany, he was a son of Donald F. Green and Constance E. Miles.  

     Dennis worked as a pipeline worker for Skibeck Co., Jamestown, N, before his retirement.

     He enjoyed cars and going to car shows. He was also an NFL Kansas City Chiefs fan.

     Surviving in addition to his father, Donald Green of Kane, is his longtime companion, Kelly Moore of Port Allegany; four sons, Thomas J. Saltsman of Bradford, Dennis E. Green Jr., of State College, Michael T. Blum of Bradford, and Isaiah J. Green of Port Allegany; two daughters, Delleny Molisani of Wellsville, NY, Desiree Kamats of Bradford; five grandchildren; two brothers, Dan Green of Allegany, NY, Donald Green of Port Allegany; and three sisters, Linda (Michael) Gordon of Port Allegany, Debbie McKee of Eldred, and Cindy (Dave) Carpenter of Port Allegany; and several nieces and nephews. 

     He was preceded in death by his mother, Constance Tompkins and stepfather Willard Tompkins; and mother-in-law, Lorna Moore.

     Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 14, 2023) in the Veteran's Memorial Home, Port Allegany, with Rev. Carrie Piper officiating.

     Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
