Dennis P. Leach
ROULETTE- Dennis P. Leach, 65, of Atkins Rd., passed away Wednesday (Aug. 14, 2013) in his home, with his family by his side.
     Born March 13, 1948, in Erie, PA, he was a son of Paul R. and Marjorie R. Miller Leach. On Jan, 25, 1969, in Ft. Eustis, VA, he married Dawna J. Stover, who survives.
     Mr. Leach was a graduate of Harborcreek High School, Erie, PA, and attended Pennsylvania State Univeristy, Dubois, PA.
     He was employed by Verizon Communications for 31 years, retiring in 2001.
     Dennis was a veteran of the Viet Nam War, having served with the US Army and he was a member of US Army Band.
     Mr. Leach was a longtime resident of the area and a member of Trout Unlimited, Coudersport, and loved to fish and hunt.
     Surviving in addition to his wife, Dawna, are a son, Gordon D. (Loralee) Leach of Naples, ME; two daughters, Denise L. (Don) Culbertson of Finksburg, MD, Drema J. Leach of Hampstead, MD; four grandchildren, Krysti and T.J. Leach and Jordan and Jonah Culbertson; and several nieces and nephews.  
     He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Debora Mallett and Diane Witherow.
     Friends will be received from  1-4 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 17, 2013) in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany where funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. with Rev. H.D. Youngblood, Jr. and Rev. Dale Post, pastor of the Chestnuts Street Baptist Church, co-officiating.  
     Burial will be in Maryland.
