Erroll H. Flynn           

ULYSSES- Erroll H. Flynn, 70, of Old US Route 6, passed away Thursday (Apr. 4, 2024) in the Olean General Hospital.

      Born Jan. 22, 1954, in Coudersport, he was a son of Claude R. and Elaine A. Jeffers Flynn.

      Erroll was a longtime resident of Ulysses, and was employed with the Tioga Golf Course, Wellsboro, before having to retire.

     He was an avid fisherman and NFL Cleveland Browns fan. He loved gardening, canning, completing puzzles with his mom, and camping, but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. Erroll also enjoyed horses, his dog Jacob, and his cat Silas.

    Surviving in addition to his longtime companion, Bobbi J. Strang, are five daughters, Jennifer (Ken) Flynn of Roulette, Rachel (Richard) Nelson of Shinglehouse, Kasey (Jacob) Moore of Coudersport, Katherine Strang of Coudersport, Annette (Dean) Strang of Chicora, PA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda (Harvey) Lehman of Ulysses, and Janice (Phil) Batterman of Wellsboro; and several nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his parents.

     At Erroll’s request, there will be no funeral service.

    Memorials can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

    Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
